The new Verjus harvest 2025 is beginning!
This is how we guarantee consistent quality and taste every year.
We start harvesting the extra sour verjus grapes at the beginning of August, followed by the sour and fruity grapes.
Our verjus is a natural product without preservatives, so the grapes are harvested, pressed, and then bottled hot!
A little ascorbic acid is added as an antioxidant during pressing.

Who is Verjus-Shop?
We are Irene and Markus – passionate ambassadors for verjus and non-alcoholic enjoyment. Markus Steinbäcker brought this special product to Austria in 2007 as a verjus pioneer. Together with Irene Biricz, he founded the Verjus Shop in 2012 and created a platform for high-quality verjus products from selected winegrowers – most recently Vinberg Premium Verjus. The majority of our products are laboratory-tested, low in histamine, gluten-free, vegan and guarantee carefree enjoyment. In addition to verjus, we offer a fine selection of non-alcoholic drinks and foods for special dietary requirements that inspire and surprise.
